This Privacy Policy explains what information BijakDaily collects when you visit the site, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

BijakDaily is run by Ameerul Zakiy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For any question about your personal data, email [email protected] or use our Contact page.

Information you give us

Contact form: when you send a message, we receive your name, email address, message and your IP address (used only to block spam). We use this information only to reply to you. Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, sooner if you ask us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Article view counts

To show which articles are most read, we count page views per article per day. This count does not use cookies and does not store your IP address or any other information about you.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small files stored on your device. BijakDaily itself sets one cookie, a session cookie, only when you open the Contact page (to protect the form against forged submissions) or when our staff sign in. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your device and is never sent to us.

Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how visitors found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and gives us aggregated reports. We do not send your name, email address or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics. We use Google AdSense to show ads.
