About

BijakDaily is an independent personal finance publication. We share practical, everyday money tips (budgeting, saving, bills and spending), explained in plain language with worked examples you can apply to your own life.

Why BijakDaily exists

"Bijak" means smart in Malay. BijakDaily started in 2026 with a simple aim: to give readers useful tips they can use in daily life, without jargon or hype. We focus on the small, everyday decisions that decide whether a salary lasts the month, like what you pay for automatically, what you spend without noticing, and what a habit really costs over a year.

What we publish

  • Budgeting & Saving: planning a salary, building saving habits and making a budget you can actually keep.
  • Bills & Spending: cutting utility bills, subscriptions, food spending and the everyday costs that quietly add up.
  • Real Life: true personal stories from our writers about money, family, travel and everyday life.

We're based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, so many of our examples use ringgit (RM) and Malaysian services. We write so the advice works wherever you live, and we say clearly when something applies only to Malaysia.
